Entry, expansion & refund details
Eight player places open first. Extra pairs join the waitlist. Expansion requires eight eligible, paid pairs by October 10 at 6 PM Pacific; conditional entrants are refunded if expansion fails.
Player 1 is the captain and pays for both players.
Entry is confirmed only after eligibility approval and full pair payment.
No refunds for withdrawal, no-shows, partner changes, or a reduced field.
Refunds are available only if the event is cancelled before the first match; no refunds once play starts.
Replacements require organizer approval, both partners’ agreement, and eligibility review.
No partner changes after a pair starts play.
Check in by 8:15 AM; play starts at 8:30 AM.
A 10-minute grace period follows the actual match call unless the organizer grants a delay.
Four matches per pair assumes a full field with no withdrawals.
A smaller field can change the format or match count without a refund.
Awards target noon; court access through 12:30 PM must be confirmed.
Weather updates: 6 PM the evening before and 6:30 AM on event day.
If play ends early, prizes follow current rankings: a completed championship takes priority; otherwise pool win percentage, point differential per played game, points per played game, then initial seed.
No refunds once play starts.
